HathiTrust’s new Strategic Vision is the result of a year-long project to closely evaluate its accomplishments and potential through the eyes of its members, governance bodies, and staff, as well as non-members and peer organizations.

Hear how the organization is positioning itself to achieve its core strategic objectives-increasing access to and use of an expanded, diversified, and enhanced collection-by further expanding lawful access to in-copyright works, scaling the identification of public domain works, and integrating computational methods to the corpus for user access and text and metadata improvement. The briefing will also include discussion of the methods and findings, as well as some reflections on the organization’s growth and development.
