HathiTrust will host the annual member meeting as a virtual event.
Committed to the Core: Stewarding our Shared Collection
Our Strategic Vision — fueled by the collective energy of our 200+ member libraries — propels us to explore multiple avenues to bring more voices, more access, more data, and more diversity to our shared digital collection for the benefit of scholars and the global community. In 2024, we have renewed our commitment to the stewardship and preservation of the collection, the foundation of all our work. While our early days focused on building mass and scale, there are opportunities today to enrich the quality and reach of our collection in new ways. Join us to explore the framework of collaboration and the local impact of co-investment that are hallmarks of HathiTrust’s overall endeavor. Through nuanced perspectives from member library leaders and HathiTrust staff, we’ll envision the possibilities for HathiTrust’s iconic collection in local libraries and in the world at large.
Who Should Attend?
This year, we especially encourage attendance by the HathiTrust member representative, library director, and/or dean. The meeting will again be open to anyone affiliated with a member library. Members are welcome to pass along the meeting and registration information to teams and colleagues. There is no maximum number of those who may attend from one institution.

Centering the Collection and its Value
With 18+ million items contributed by more than 60 HathiTrust member libraries, the digital collection is unmatched in both its content and stewardship model and is HathiTrust’s core asset. Moderated by HathiTrust Associate Director, Jennifer Vinopal, the panel brings together a range of perspectives structured around three topics, which will be addressed in conversation between a member and a HathiTrust staff member.
